Spurs duo still wary of Inter

Brad Friedel and Michael Dawson have insisted there is no danger of complacency creeping in as Tottenham Hotspur prepare for the second leg of their UEFA Europa League tie against Inter Milan.

Spurs produced a superb performance to win 3-0 at White Hart Lane last week and travel to Italy for Thursday's return game in a strong position to go through to the quarter-finals.

Goalkeeper Friedel is focused on finishing the job and believes Tottenham should try and net an away goal which would leave Inter needing to score five times.

He said: "They are still in the match at 3-0, but we'll go out there with the attitude to score. And if we get that decisive away goal it will be a mountain to climb for them.

"Away goals are so important and getting a clean sheet is vitally important - as was the third goal before going to the San Siro.

"Before the game we would have taken 3-0."

Dawson is also confident that Tottenham can knock out Inter, even though they will be without the suspended Gareth Bale, but he does expect a response from the Serie A side.

"We all know how tough it is in the San Siro and one thing is for sure, they won't lie down," Dawson told the club's official website.

"There is a lot of pride at stake and I'm sure they will be hurting after losing 3-0 like they did at the Lane. We have to be ready for that.

"We're in a great position, don't get me wrong and we now have to go there, do a professional job and if we do that, we'll be okay. It won't be a walk in the park though, that's for sure."
