Spurs too good for Timberwolves

Western Conference leaders San Antonio Spurs held the Minnesota Timberwolves at bay to claim a fourth straight NBA victory.

Kawhi Leonard scored 13 of his 17 points in the second half as the Spurs won 104-86 at the AT&T Center. Tim Duncan had 15 points with Tony Parker adding 14 points and 10 assists.

Nikola Pekovic was the Timberwolves' top-scorer with 22 point while Kevin Love scored 14.

Mike Conley scored 21 points with Zach Randolph netting 18 as the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Atlanta Hawks 108-101 at the FedExForum.

Conley also contributed 13 assists while Paul Millsap top-scored for the Hawks with 21 points as Atlanta lost to the Grizzlies for only the third time in 15 meetings.

The Sacramento Kings notched a third straight victory by downing the Cleveland Cavaliers 124-80.

A 16-point run in the third quarter built a 28-point lead heading into the fourth and the eventual 45-point winning margin was the Kings' largest this season.

Isaiah Thomas scored 26 points for Sacramento while CJ Miles (14) and Luol Deng (12) were the best performers for the Cavaliers.
