St J'stone v St Mirren preview

Team news ahead of Saturday's Scottish Premier League clash between St Johnstone and St Mirren at McDiarmid Park.

St Johnstone are without strikers Steven MacLean and Rowan Vine.

Vine is midway through a three-match ban while MacLean has his arm in plaster after dislocating his elbow.

Manager Steve Lomas said he only had 13 fit senior players at training ahead of the game with Callum Davidson and Jamie Adams expected to miss out again with back problems.

St Mirren are without Paul McGowan.

The Buddies playmaker will undergo surgery on a shoulder injury on Monday and will likely be out of action for the rest of the year.

Teenagers John McGinn and Graeme McGregor have been added to Danny Lennon's squad.
