Sean St. Ledger is back at Leicester for treatment after a hamstring injury ruled him out of the Republic of Ireland's World Cup qualifiers.
Despite sustaining the injury during the Foxes' 2-0 home win over Bristol City on Saturday, St. Ledger reported with the rest of Giovanni Trapattoni's squad the following day.
The 27-year-old centre-half underwent a scan, which confirmed he will take no part in the games against Germany on Friday and the Faroe Islands next Tuesday.
St. Ledger will spend the two-week international break receiving treatment but he is already a doubt for the trip to Birmingham on October 20 when Leicester resume league action.
