St Mirren v Motherwell preview

St Mirren will be without goalkeeper Marian Kello when they entertain Motherwell this Saturday.

Kello is still recovering from a groin injury and Frenchman Chris Dilo will continue to deputise.

Manager Danny Lennon has no other injury worries as his team attempt to climb away from the relegation playoff spot they currently occupy.

Motherwell boss Stuart McCall, who side are level with Aberdeen in the chase for the runners-up spot, could be without up to eight players for the trip to Paisley.

Defender Craig Reid (toe) and forward Henri Anier (ankle) came off during Motherwell's 2-1 victory in Inverness on Tuesday, while an unnamed player suffered an injury scare in training on Friday.

Stuart Carswell (knee) will miss out, although the midfielder may face Celtic in a couple of weeks before undergoing tidy-up surgery.

Talisman James McFadden (hamstring), keeper Lee Hollis (broken finger), defender Simon Ramsden (knee) and midfielder Paul Lawson (Achilles) are all absent for the visitors.
