St Mirren v Q of Sth preview

St Mirren have no fresh injury or suspension worries ahead of their Scottish Cup fourth-round replay against Queen of the South.

Winger Gary Teale and defender David Barron sat out the 0-0 draw with Inverness Caley Thistle at the weekend through injury and will miss out again.

Danny Lennon's men have now gone five Premiership matches at home without defeat and have also kept a clean sheet in three of their last four league games.

Queens midfielder Derek Young (toe) will not feature and Michael Paton, who scored the equaliser in the original game, faces a late test on a hamstring strain.

Jim McIntyre's Championship side will travel in good heart having beaten the Premiership side in the League Cup earlier this term and having claimed a 1-0 league win at Dumbarton at the weekend.

McIntyre said: "We always try to attack teams and we will do that in this game as well.

"We are away from home against a side that are very playing very solidly in the league above us, but we have a chance."

The winners will tackle Dundee United at Tannadice in the fifth round.
