Stallings leads in California
American Scott Stallings holds a three-shot lead after the third round of the Humana Challenge in California.
Stallings was seven under par through 15 holes to sit on 20 under for the tournament, two shots clear of compatriots Roberto Castro and Brian Stuard and Australia's Greg Chalmers.
Stallings had five birdies and an eagle at the par-five 13th as he opened up a cushion.
Stuard was having a storming round, though, 11 under through 16 holes to bring himself right back into contention, while Castro was three under through 17 and Chalmers five under after 14.
Stuard had eight birdies, two eagles and one bogey in a hugely impressive round so far.
The clubhouse leader was another American, Kevin Streelman, on 16 under.
Streelman fired a bogey-free six-under 66 today to go with his opening rounds of 69 and 65.
