Star duo head to Liverpool

Richard Krajicek and ex-British number one Greg Rusedski will play at this year's Liverpool International legends tournament.

Krajicek, now a tournament director in his native Netherlands, and Rusedski were among the names announced by organisers on Wednesday.

Former Wimbledon doubles champion Peter McNamara and 1986 French Open finalist Mikael Pernfors will also appear, as will Liverpool's own Barry Cowan, crowd favourite Mansour Bahrami and Morocco's former ATP star Younes El Aynaoui.

The field for the main event, which will be used as preparation for the action at Wimbledon, has yet to be confirmed, although organisers have revealed that American Ryan Sweeting, a former US Open junior champion, will compete.

The tournament takes place at Calderstones Park from June 21-24.
