Stars set for scramble

Eight former captains and celebrities including Justin Timberlake and Michael Phelps will battle it out at Medinah on Tuesday.

After the European and United States teams have had their first official practice rounds fans will be able to watch a 10-hole scramble golf event over the course.

The past captains involved are Ben Crenshaw, Tom Kite, Tom Lehman, Corey Pavin, Dave Stockton, Hal Sutton, Lanny Wadkins and 72-year-old Lee Trevino.

It is not the only innovation this year. Wednesday afternoon will see competitors from the Junior Ryder Cup give a 10-hole exhibition.
