Steelers climb into top three

Sheffield Steelers moved into third place in the Elite League with a 4-1 win over Edinburgh Capitals.

Stefan Meyer put the Steelers ahead with a powerplay goal in the first period, with the remainder of the goals coming in the second through Jeff Legue (two) and Marcis Zembergs for the hosts and Rob Sirianni getting a consolation.

It was the Steelers' fourth straight league win on home ice in contrast to the Capitals who have now suffered a third straight loss, leaving them anchored to the bottom.
