Sheffield Steelers moved to joint second in the Elite League with a 4-3 shootout victory over Cardiff Devils.
Drew Fata gave Steelers the lead at the end of the first period before Ben Davies and Tyson Marsh turned things around for the Devils in the first five minutes of the second.
Shawn Limpright and Steven Goertzen put the Steelers 3-2 ahead, with Stuart MacRae then levelling the game after 14:00 of the third to send the game into overtime.
However, with no further breakthrough it went to a shootout and Fata despatched the winning score.
