Sheffield Steelers made it back-to-back wins in the Elite League with a 3-0 victory at Coventry Blaze.
Tom Sestito, Steven Goertzen and Lee Esders were the scorers for last season's runners-up, who had beaten champions Belfast in their previous outing.
Hull Stingrays edged out Dundee Stars 4-3 in Saturday's other game.
Two goals from Janis Ozolins helped Hull on their way, with Jeff Smith and Jason Silverthorn also on the mark. Dundee's replies came from Billy Bagron (two) and A.J. MacLean.
