The Sheffield Steelers retained their place at the top of the Elite League after a 5-4 penalty shootout victory over the Belfast Giants.
Colin Shields and Jeff Legue both scored their penalties for the Steelers while Belfast were left to rue misses by Craig Peacock and Scott Champagne.
