
Matthew Stevens held his nerve to fend off Barry Hawkins and edge through to the World Championship quarter-finals.
His second-round match against Hawkins was close throughout, as the man from Dartford refused to be shaken off.
Eventually Welshman Stevens crossed the winning line, sealing a 13-11 success, with a break of 57 in a final-frame victory march.
