Steyn rested by South Africa

Pace bowler Dale Steyn will miss South Africa's first two Twenty20 internationals against Australia with a hamstring injury.

Steyn's bowling in the final Test in Cape Town, which was won by Australia to secure the series 2-1, was affected by the problem and he will only be available for the series finale in Pretoria next Friday.

The injury is not expected to cause him to miss the World Twenty20, which takes place in Bangladesh later this month.

Kyle Abbott, who will play for Hampshire this summer, has been added to the squad with South Africa also having doubts over seamers Wayne Parnell and Beuran Hendricks.

Parnell sustained a strain to his right groin during the second Test against Australia, while Hendricks is recovering from a side strain sustained in domestic competition.
