Sunderland start for West Brom

Alan Irvine's first game in charge of West Bromwich Albion will see Sunderland travel to The Hawthorns on the opening weekend of the 2014/15 campaign.

tThe Baggies then head out on the road for back-to-back away games, with long journeys to be made to Southampton and Swansea City before the end of August.

October brings a trip to Anfield to face Liverpool and a home date with Manchester United.

West Brom then go to Chelsea on November 22, before playing host to Arsene Wenger's Arsenal a week later.

A first derby clash of the campaign against Aston Villa arrives on December 13, at The Hawthorns, and Manchester City will be in the Midlands on Boxing Day.

The curtain is brought down on 2014 away at Stoke City on December 28 and the New Year is welcomed in at West Ham United.

A return date with Aston Villa is pencilled in for March 3, before a testing climax to the season starts away at Manchester City on March 21.

West Brom may need to have points on the board by the time they enter their last five fixtures, with a visit from Liverpool followed by trips to Manchester United and Newcastle United.

They then head home to face Chelsea on the penultimate weekend, before travelling to Emirates Stadium to tackle Arsenal on the final day - May 24.
