Supreme target for Ginge

Nigel Twiston-Davies' Betfair Hurdle winner Splash Of Ginge is likely to run in the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham.

Splash Of Ginge, a surprise 33-1 winner of the competitive Betfair Hurdle for Twiston-Davies, is likely to run in the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle which opens the meeting, rather than a handicap.

Double Ross, winner of the Stewart Family Thank You Gold Cup and a New Year's Day handicap, will step up in class for the Grade One JLT Novices' Chase.

"Splash Of Ginge is probably going to go for the Supreme Novices, the owner is very keen to go," said Twiston-Davies.

"Double Ross is going to go for the two-and-a-half-mile novice rather than a handicap."
