Surrey keep Knights winless

Surrey United emerged victorious from a battle between the BBL's bottom teams as they claimed a 104-92 victory over the Birmingham Knights.

Upper Marlboro-born guards Brandon McGill and Isaiah Tate have played together since they were nine years old and their respective hauls of 39 and 32 points kept basement boys Birmingham searching for a first win of the season.

Another American, Brent Benson, led the way for the Knights with 31 points.

Ralph Bucci scored a game-high 22 points as the Durham Wildcats beat the Plymouth Raiders 89-66 in Newton Aycliffe.

The Wildcats guard and captain also contributed 17 rebounds and five assists, with Kirk Crecco (16) and RJ Evans (15) also working hard in Lee Davie's side.

Donald Robinson top-scored for the Raiders with 18 points while Paul Pressey contributed 13 and made five assists.
