Australia pace bowler John Hastings has agreed to join Sussex as their second overseas player for this summer's Friends Life T20 tournament.
The Sharks had already announced New Zealand all-rounder Scott Styris as one of their allowed players, and on Thursday morning named Hastings as the second.
The 27-year-old has been capped by Australia in all three formats of the game, and recently impressed for the Baggy Green's A side against their English counterparts.
"I'm really looking forward to getting over to Sussex and joining up with the Sharks, as well as meeting everyone at the club. I can't wait for the opportunity to help the team in going one step further this season," he said of Sussex, semi-finalists in 2012.
"It has always been a huge goal of mine to play in an English summer, and I couldn't be happier about my upcoming time at Sussex."
