Swansea City are believed to be lining up a January raid for West Brom defender and England Under-21 star Craig Dawson.
The Baggies are reportedly ready to sell Dawson - who is in contention for England Under-21 Player of the Year - as he has failed to make a Premier League appearance under Steve Clarke this term.
Central defender Dawson, who was handed a new long-term deal in February, has been limited to just two Capital One Cup appearances and is now looking to secure regular first-team football elsewhere.
A number of clubs have expressed an interest, but Sky Sports understands that it is Swansea who are at the head of the queue for the 22-year-old.
Dawson signed for West Brom in 2010 from Rochdale, but he spent another year at Spotland before linking up with the Baggies last year.
