Swift tenth in Mallorca

Team Sky's Ben Swift finished 10th on the second day of the Trofeo Palma on Mallorca, a 167-kilometre race which finished in Ses Salines.

Swift, who finished the first race of four on Sunday in third, had to settle for 10th in a race won by Orica-Green EDGE rider Leigh Howard, with Garmin-Sharp's Tyler Farrar in second and Movistar's Jose Joaquin Rojas third.

Team Sky took control of the race with 25km to go with only around 50 riders left in the leading bunch and they were joined by Lotto-Belisol as the finish line neared but neither team could stop Howard.
