Swindon v Peterborough preview

Team news ahead of Monday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy Southern Area final between Swindon and Peterborough at the County Ground.

The hosts will be without defender Nathan Thompson for the second-leg clash against the Posh.

The Robins, who drew the first leg 2-2, were held to a 0-0 draw by Colchester on Friday night, a game which saw the right-back pick up his 10th booking of the campaign and he will now serve a two-match ban.

Striker Nile Ranger has scored twice against United this season but he is a doubt for this tie with a hamstring injury that forced the former Newcastle man off just before half-time.

Left-back Jay McEveley misses out once more through suspension but Yaser Kasim is available again having served his two-game ban.

Peterborough's new loan signings Ben Nugent and Josh McQuoid could both make their full debuts.

Cardiff centre-half Nugent was an unused substitute in Friday night's draw against Walsall and Bournemouth striker McQuoid stepped off the bench in the second half.

Another new signing, defender Jack Baldwin, was also an unused substitute on Friday following his recent arrival from Hartlepool and could make his first appearance.

The Posh have won only one of their last four outings in all competitions.
