Tarkowski offered fresh terms
Highly-rated central defender James Tarkowski has been offered a new deal at Oldham.
The League One club revealed they had put fresh terms in front of the 21-year-old, who only signed a new two-year contract back in the summer.
Tarkowski has been one of Latics' most impressive performers this season and only enhanced his reputation in the FA Cup loss to Liverpool at Anfield.
Both Reds boss Brendan Rodgers and Manchester United manager David Moyes have been present for some of Tarkowski's finer outings this term but Oldham want him to continue his development at Boundary Park.
Were Tarkowski to sign an extension with Latics, he would remain at the club until the end of the 2016 season.
