Tems tops Newbury hopefuls

Richard Hannon's Dual Group Two victor Best Terms heads a field of nine for the Dubai Duty Free Stakes at Newbury on Saturday.

Richard Hannon's filly bids to stake her claim for the Qipco 1000 Guineas when she steps up to seven furlongs for this Group Three contest which is better known as the Fred Darling Stakes.

She won her first four starts as a juvenile, including the Queen Mary and Lowther Stakes, but lost her unbeaten record when only fifth in the Cheveley Park Stakes on her final outing.

Among her eight rivals are the Ralph Beckett pair of Electrelane and Moonstone Magic while Tim Easterby sends Firth of Clyde Stakes scorer Roger Sez down from Yorkshire.

Completing the field are Brick Tops, Fillionaire, Radio Gaga, Switcher and Villeneuve.
