Thiago Silva happy at PSG
Paris St Germain captain Thiago Silva intends to fulfil his contract with the club after recently being linked with Bayern Munich.
The 29-year-old joined PSG from AC Milan in 2012 and, last summer, signed a one-year extension to his contract which will keep him at the Parc des Princes until 2018.
The Brazil international had been linked with Barcelona prior to agreeing his new deal, while recent reports have claimed that Bayern are interested in the centre-half.
However, Silva is not looking to leave the French champions and sees no reason to move on before his contract expires.
"I want to stay here and I believe I'll see out my contract," Silva told Globo Esporte.
"PSG are one of the biggest clubs in the world nowadays. It's up to us to keep the team that way."
Silva was a key figure in PSG winning the title last season and Laurent Blanc's side are five points clear of Monaco at the top of Ligue 1 this term.
A last-16 tie with Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Champions League awaits next month and Silva hopes PSG can transfer their domestic form to European competition.
He added: "I think we can replicate our good performances in the league in the Champions League.
"The team are doing very well and I owe my presence in FIFA's dream team to them too."
