Thunder and Kingman clash on

Night Of Thunder and Kingman clash again in Tuesday’s St James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot for which a field of seven go to post.

The former sprang a 40/1 surprise when beating John Gosden's charge in the QIPCO 2000 Guineas at Newmarket, reversing form from when their pair met in the Greenham in the process. Richard Hughes is back on board this time.

Kingman subsequently went on to win the Irish Guineas and is odds-on to take his revenge on Tuesday.

Aidan O'Brien relies on War Command, who was never a factor in the Newmarket Classic and eventually finished ninth.

Craven winner Toormore, a stablemate of Night Of Thunder, was seventh at Newmarket and reopposes as does Godolphin's Outstrip who was last of 14.

William Haggas' Newmarket maiden winner Yuften takes a steep rise in class and dual Dundalk winner Prince Of All completes the field.
