Tigers announce Keighley link-up
Castleford have confirmed a dual registration partnership with Kingstone Press Championship side Keighley for the 2013 season.
The agreement means the Super League team can give fringe players valuable game time at Keighley, while promising Cougars players could move in the opposite direction and feed in to all levels at Castleford.
Tigers players Jake Emmitt and Charlie Martin have both joined Keighley and played in the Championship home defeat to Whitehaven yesterday.
Steve Gill, Tigers' head of youth development said: "The partnership enables us to give valuable game time to some of our upcoming talents in a good competition whilst also allowing us to support the Cougars aims to be a more competitive force in the Championship.
"It also gives us another pathway for emerging young talent to feed in to the Tigers. We look forward to working closely with Keighley Cougars over the coming season."
