Mersey Tigers' miserable BBL Championship campaign continued as they suffered a 12th straight defeat, going down 92-65 to Cheshire Phoenix.
Chris Bigley poured in a game-high 25 points for the bottom-of-the-table Tigers, but 20+ contributions from Alif Bland (22), Jerome Gumbs (22) and Gabriele Haskins (21) saw the Phoenix romp to victory.
Also tonight, the Glasgow Rocks overcame the Manchester Giants 83-77. Donald Robinson's 25-point haul proved decisive for the Rocks, with 21 points from Devan Bailey not enough for the Giants.
