Title joy for Scottish duo
Scottish duo Imogen Bankier and Kirsty Gilmour were both celebrating title success at the Yonex Czech International in Brno on Sunday.
Bankier, the 2011 world mixed doubles silver medal, continued her productive partnership with Bulgaria's Petya Nedelcheva as they claimed a third successive women's doubles title following their victories at the Kharkov and Belgian Internationals earlier this month.
The third-seeded duo beat top-ranked pairing Gilmour and Jillie Cooper, who had to settle for the runners-up spot in Brno for the second successive year after losing 21-6 21-14.
GB squad member Gilmour, 20, still ended the event with a title to her name as well though, having earlier defended her women's singles crown with an impressive 21-18 21-10 win over Taipei's Chi Ya Cheng.
