UAE Derby winner Toast of New York will parade at The Betfair Lambourn Open Day on Good Friday.

The winner of this year's $2 million United Arab Emirates Derby at Meydan, Toast of New York, will parade at The Betfair Lambourn Open Day on Good Friday 18th April 2014.

He will join recent Cheltenham Festival winner Present View, the mighty Sprinter Sacre and record-breaking steeplechaser Kauto Star who will be stabled at Oliver Sherwood's Rhonehurst stables throughout the morning of the open day.

Upwards of 10,000 visitors are expected to attend The Betfair Lambourn Open Day on Good Friday 18th April 2014. This annual charity event provides visitors with a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes at some of the country's top racehorse training establishments and meet the trainers, staff and, of course, the horses.

More than 25 racing yards are expected to open their doors to the public in the Valley of the Racehorse, so don't miss your chance to see the stable stars of Lambourn.

Visits to the top class training establishments are just one element of this special charity event there will also be an opportunity to see the fantastic facilities at the Valley Equine Hospital and a range of demonstrations will be taking place throughout the day, including the Rockwood Dog Display and farrier displays.

The events field with its central arena will open at 1pm with a full programme of equine and country related shows, in addition to demonstrations of country skills. The highlights this year include the Household Cavalry performing their spectacular Musical Ride and a show jumping competition featuring Soldiers v Top Jockeys such as AP McCoy, Mick Fitzgerald and John Francome.

Also included in the afternoon's activities are pony rides for the children, vast array of trade stands and food stalls at the central events area in Lambourn completes a great day out for all the family.

Tickets cost just 12 for the whole day, 6 for afternoon entertainment only. Children under 12 can enter for free. Car Parks are free and open at 7.30 a.m. Yards will open from 8.30am until 1 p.m.

All money raised goes to Lambourn's registered charity, The Lambourn Valley Housing Trust which works for the welfare of its stable staff, The Air Ambulance and other local needy causes.
