Torino skipper eyes Juve win
Torino captain Kamil Glik believes his side will head into Sunday's Turin derby at Juventus in a great frame of mind.
The Granata are flying high in Serie A and last weekend's 3-1 triumph at Hellas Verona lifted them to seventh place.
Giampiero Ventura's men are two places and three points behind Inter Milan, who hold the last European qualifying spot.
"We are going through a great moment," Glik said. "Perhaps the best to go into the derby.
"The win against Hellas has allowed us to prepare for this game with optimism.
"We have to remain focused and believe in what we are able to do.
"We have to think of Sunday's game as though it was just another match.
"We must keep our energy for the game and try to do our best."
Toro have not beaten Juve in the league since 1995, while they have lost their last five Serie A meetings against their neighbours.
And the league leaders are showing no signs of slowing down.
They have lost just once this season and have won all of their 12 league games at the Juventus stadium.
Juve are nine points clear of Roma at the top of the standings, with the Giallorossi having a game in hand.
Antonio Conte's men go into the encounter on the back of a 2-0 triumph over Trabzonspor on Thursday that saw them take a step closer to the last 16 of the Europa League.
Juve travel to Turkey next week for the return leg.
"We have a difficult calendar ahead of us," Conte said. "We are playing a game every three days and we have to manage our energy well.
"We want to go all the way in Serie A and in the Europa League."
Fernando Llorente is expected to return to the starting XI, having been used as a substitute against Trabzonspor. The Spaniard will partner Carlos Tevez up front.
Juve are still without defender Giorgio Chiellini and striker Mirko Vucinic out injured.
Ciro Immobile will partner Alessio Cerci in Toro's attack, the pair combining for 24 of their team's 39 goals this season.
