Torquay v Oxford United preview
Team news for Saturday afternoon's League Two clash between Torquay and Oxford United at Plainmoor.
The Gulls will be without Elliot Benyon and Dale Tonge when they host the U's this weekend.
Striker Benyon suffered concussion and some bruising to the side of his brain after being knocked out in the Capital One Cup defeat at Swindon. And, having missed the draw at Morecambe, he will also sit out the clash with Chris Wilder's men.
Defender Tonge is suspended after seeing red with four minutes to go last weekend while Martin Rice is expected to continue in goal.
Fellow goalkeeper Michael Poke has resumed training after his thigh injury but was not risked in Tuesday's friendly at Cheltenham and is unlikely to be involved.
The U's will check on Dave Kitson ahead of their clash with Torquay.
The League Two leaders saw their eye-catching summer signing forced off with a shoulder injury in the closing stages of their 2-1 win over Bury last weekend and the former Reading striker will be assessed before the match.
Jonathan Meades remains sidelined with a leg injury he sustained during pre-season but manager Chris Wilder has no fresh injury worries ahead of the trip to Plainmoor.
Danny Rose looks set to keep his place in the starting line-up after his free-kick set the U's on their way to victory against the Shakers.
