Trotta plans Brentford stay

Marcello Trotta does not expect to be recalled by new Fulham boss Felix Magath and is focused on helping Brentford win promotion.

The 20-year-old is currently on his second loan stint at Brentford after spending the majority of last season at Griffin Park.

Trotta, who made his debut for Italy's Under-21s last week, insists he has not spoken to Magath and that he has no plans to return to Craven Cottage as he wants to help Brentford win promotion from League One after missing out in heartbreaking circumstances last season.

"The new Fulham manager has not been in contact with me," Trotta told The Sun.

"At the moment I'm just enjoying my time here and at the end of the season we will see what happens.

"There's a long way to go and hopefully we can be up there and get up automatically."
