Top seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga eased into the semi-finals of the Stockholm Open after a 6-3 6-4 victory over Sergiy Stakhovsky.
Tsonga utilised serve and volley tactics throughout the contest as he eventually put his Ukrainian opponent away in one hour and 24 minutes.
The Frenchman squandered four match points on Stakhovsky's serve when 5-3 up in the second set but quickly regained his composure to complete the win.
He will face Marcos Baghdatis in the last four after the 2009 winner claimed a 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) win over Lithuanian Ricardas Berankis.
Third seed Nicolas Almagro also booked his spot in the semi-finals after recording a comfortable 6-1 6-1 win over former world No 1 Lleyton Hewitt.
Almagro will play either second seed Tomas Berdych or Mikhail Youzhny in the last four.
