Promising conditional jump jockey Willy Twiston-Davies is to spend the summer at champion Flat trainer Richard Hannon's stables.
The 17-year-old won the Aintree Fox Hunters' Chase on Baby Run for his father Nigel last season and had his first Flat winner on Addikt at Kempton last week.
Twiston-Davies wants to both polish up his skills and gain valuable experience by riding on the Flat.
"The plan is for Willy to start riding out down here at the end of next week," the Marlborough trainer told www.richardhannonracing.tv.
"Richard Hughes has given him a glowing reference, and, though he won't be able to do light, he can claim the 7lb which will be very valuable.
"We have some good kids down here, like Kieren O'Neill and Sean Levey, but Kieren has lost his claim and it won't be too long before Sean loses his 3lb allowance.
"Hughesie reckons there aren't many around better than Willy still able to claim the 7lb, so he could be a useful addition to the team."
