Uttoxeter aim for Nature

Silver By Nature is being aimed at the Betfred Midlands Grand National at Uttoxeter on March 16 following his recent comeback run.

The 11-year-old, trained by Lucinda Russell, is reported to be in good form after he was pulled up in the Betfred Grand National Trial.

The grey had won the valuable staying handicap chase at Haydock in 2010 and 2011 but had been off the track since finishing 12th to Ballabriggs in the John Smith's Grand National at Aintree two years ago.

"He's fine and will go to Uttoxeter all being well," said Russell's assistant and partner Peter Scudamore.
