Belgium captain Thomas Vermaelen believes England will do well at the European Championship after seeing them close up on Saturday.
England edged past Belgium 1-0 on Saturday in their final warm-up game for Euro 2012 thanks to Danny Welbeck's first-half finish at Wembley.
And Vermaelen is of the opinion that Roy Hodgson's men have the ability to perform well this summer.
"It's a good side," the Arsenal defender told Sky Sports News. "They have a lot of experienced players, good players.
"They all play in the Premier League so I think they will do well in the Europeans."
The 26-year-old's Gunners team-mate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain made his full England debut in the match and looked comfortable at international level.
Asked if he was pleased to see the teenager get his chance, Vermaelen added: "Yes of course, because I think he's really brave when he plays and I think players who are really brave should be rewarded for that.
"I'm happy for him, he is there in the squad."
