Bradford captain Heath L'Estrange says the Bulls players will have a point to prove when they face Hull KR.
The RFL, along with the club's administrator, have set a deadline of close of business on Friday to flush out any further offers for the financially-stricken club, but L'Estrange and his team will be concentrating solely on the home game against Hull KR.
A win for the Bulls would claw back two more of the points the club were docked for going into administration and enable them to draw level with their eighth-placed visitors.
L'Estrange admits it would be a notable feat for Bradford if they were to reach the play-offs for the first time in four years in the face of all the adversity that has afflicted them over the last four months.
"It would be a remarkable achievement to make the eight," he said. "Nobody would have picked that.
"As soon as the administration came around, every other side will have thought 'they will be easy-beats for the rest of the season' but you can see we are not.
"We have 17 blokes playing week in and week out that want to win and we have another 10 who come to training every day trying to push us and get back into the side.
"It's down to the quality and character of the players we have here. Everyone just bends their back and wants to help each other.
"We can't take too much emotion into the game but we know it could be one of our last ever games as a team. We are all ready for it and can't wait to get going.
"We want to win some games, get into the finals and prove some people wrong."
