Vikings v Dragons: Teams

Widnes will be without winger Paddy Flynn for Friday's visit of Catalan Dragons in the First Utility Super League.

Flynn has been banned for two matches for punching Justin Carney during the loss at Castleford last time.

The winger submitted an early guilty plea after being charged with the grade C offence in the 34-22 defeat and misses the visit of the Dragons in the Super League and Keighley in the Tetley's Challenge Cup quarter-finals the following week.

But on a more positive note, the hosts have named Danny Galea and Danny Craven in their squad after the pair recovered from injuries.

The Vikings are looking to make it two wins on the bounce at home following their 30-24 victory over Salford but it will be tough against a Dragons side who are aiming to make it three victories in a row.

The French side have made just one change to the squad which beat Bradford 46-4 last time, with joint-skipper Jason Baitieri replacing Antoni Maria.

Widnes Vikings: Allen, Brown, Clough, Craven, Dean, Galea, Gerrard, Gilmore, Gore, Hanbury, Isa, Johnson, Kavanagh, Leuluai, Marsh, Owens, Phelps, Tickle, White.

Catalan Dragons: Escare, Pryce, Pomeroy, Oldfield, Bosc, Elima, Lima, Taia, Anderson, Pelissier, Whitehead, Millard, Simon, Bousquet, Paea, Baitieri, Duport, Cardace, Baile.
