Vincent injury woe for Thistle
Inverness captain Richie Foran hopes to see James Vincent make a swift return from a knee injury, insisting the midfielder has played a pivotal role in the club's good start to the season.
Vincent, who signed a one-year deal with Caley Thistle in June, scored on his debut against St Mirren in August as the club went on to make the early-season pace.
But a knee injury he suffered in the 3-0 victory over Hibernian means he could be out until the New Year.
"James has probably improved the team to be fair with how well he's done. He's been quality for us," Foran told the Inverness Courier.
"If you look at his work rate off the ball he sometimes ends up in the full back positions, backing the lads up, so he's doing some amount of grafting when's he not got the ball, which is something other people might not see, but his team-mates do.
"But he's doing it on the ball as well. He's a brave player in terms of getting on the ball under pressure.
"James has been good for us and he will be good for us when he comes back. Hopefully, that will be sooner rather than later."
