Vose extends Colchester deal

Forward Dominic Vose has signed a new contract with Colchester until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old was snapped up by U's boss Joe Dunne on a month-to-month contract in November but has proved his worth at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.

His nine appearances for the Essex outfit, the most recent of which came in Saturday's 3-0 win over Gillingham, have convinced Dunne he is worthy of an extended deal.

Vose was released by West Ham in December 2012 and duly signed a one-year deal with Barnet last February. However, he left the Bees by mutual consent in August following their relegation from the Football League.
