Walker claims maiden title

Kylie Walker holed a 20-foot putt at the second extra play-off hole to claim her maiden Ladies European Tour win at the Deloitte Ladies Open.

Walker had led by two heading into the final round in Amsterdam but a one-under 72, not helped by nine successive pars coming home, allowed Denmark's Malene Jorgensen and Australian Nikki Campbell to catch her.

Jorgensen set the clubhouse lead on six under after shooting 67 and although Campbell led for much of the day after five birdies in her opening eight holes she three-putted the par-five 15th to drop back into a tie with Jorgensen and was later joined by Walker.

The 27-year-old Glaswegian had the chance to win in regulation play after reaching the 507-yard last in two but three-putted across the green for par which put her into the three-way play-off, which she eventually won back on the 18th green.
