Watford v Blackburn preview

Watford could be without Sean Murray and Fernando Forestieri when they host Blackburn.

Midfielder Murray has not featured since the 4-0 home win over Blackpool on March 1 due to a groin problem while Forestieri has also spent time on the sidelines recently with a toe injury.

One player the Hornets will definitely be without is Mathias Ranegie, who serves the final game of a three-match ban following his straight red card during the 2-1 defeat at Doncaster two weeks ago.

Midifielder Samba Diakite was a late substitute in Saturday's defeat at Wigan for his first appearance since being shown a red card at Middlesbrough in February and could feature more prominently against Gary Bowyer's men.

Adam Henley is the latest Blackburn player to suffer an ankle injury and he will definitely miss their trip to Watford - and possibly the remainder of the season.

The right-back, whose berth at Vicarage Road should be filled by Todd Kane, caught his studs in the turf late on in Rovers' 1-1 draw with Leicester on Saturday.

Rovers have been beset by ankle injuries throughout the campaign and Tom Cairney and Ben Marshall remain out because of that very problem, although the former is expected to undergo a week's training ahead of a possible return against Millwall on Saturday.

Boss Gary Bowyer will have just one of captain Grant Hanley (hamstring) and midfielder Jason Lowe (ankle) back on Tuesday night, although he kept his cards close to his chest when pushed on which player.
