Swinton's former Wales international Ian Watson has been awarded a testimonial by the RFL to mark 18 seasons as a professional player.
The 35-year-old scrum-half, who retired from the international game in 2011 after winning a record 31 caps for Wales, began his professional career with Salford in 1994 and has also played for Workington, Widnes, Oldham, Halifax and Leigh.
"I've enjoyed every minute of my career and playing for Wales has been an absolute pleasure, but I still think there is a bit of mileage in the legs and hopefully I can play on for at least another season after this," said Watson, who is in his fourth spell with Swinton.
