Masters champion Bubba Watson has withdrawn from the Wells Fargo Championship, taking place at Quail Hollow from May 3-6.
No doubt still taking in his epic Masters victory, Watson has decided to reassess his schedule and spend more time with his family before returning to the fold.
He will still defend his Zurich Classic of New Orleans title, taking place the week before Quail Hollow, and will be at Sawgrass for the Players Championship, taking place the week after.
"We certainly will miss seeing Bubba and we completely understand," said Wells Fargo Championship executive director Kym Hougham.
"He has been a great ambassador for our event and I know he and the family will join us next year."
While the Masters champion will no longer be present, the Wells Fargo Championship will still boast a quality field that includes Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Lee Westwood and Hunter Mahan.
