Wawrinka set for Queen's
Stan Wawrinka has taken a wild card into the Aegon Championships at Queen's Club following his early exit at the French Open.
The world number three was beaten in the first round in Paris on Monday by Spain's Guillermo Garcia-Lopez in the first big shock of the tournament.
Wawrinka will be the top seed at Queen's, which begins on June 9, ahead of defending champion Andy Murray.
The 29-year-old said: "I am really looking forward to playing in the Aegon Championships and very grateful that the tournament saved a wild card for me.
"I love London, I love the atmosphere. It is an important tournament with a lot of history, and playing at the Queen's Club gives me the best possible chance to become comfortable on grass."
Tomas Berdych, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Grigor Dimitrov are among the other leading names while British numbers two and three Dan Evans and James Ward have been given wild cards.
Tournament director Ross Hutchins said: "This is fantastic news. Stan has been a revelation this year, breaking through at the very highest level and playing some spectacular tennis.
"He adds further strength and competition to the Aegon Championships line-up, and we are delighted that he has chosen to come to the Queen's Club."
