Westbrook keeps Thunder rolling

Russell Westbrook poured in 31 points as the Oklahoma City Thunder kept rolling with a 113-100 win over the San Antonio Spurs.

The Thunder claimed their ninth straight win thanks to Westbrook, plus contributions from Reggie Jackson (21), Kevin Durant (17) and Serge Ibaka (14 points and 14 rebounds).

Tony Parker scored 23 points for the Spurs, who had lost only one of their previous seven and just one at home all season before running into the Thunder.

Dwight Howard ensured the Houston Rockets did not miss James Harden has his big night lifted the Houston Rockets to a 114-97 win over the Detroit Pistons.

Howard had 35 points - his highest total since joining the Rockets - and 19 rebounds as Houston made do without Harden (ankle) and Jeremy Lin (back).

John Smith paced the Pistons with 19 points.

Khris Middleton scored 27 points as the Milwaukee Bucks got the job done in regulation, beating the Philadelphia 76ers 116-106.

Caron Butler added 22 points and Brandon Knight 21 for the Bucks, who had lost their last two games in overtime.

The Memphis Grizzlies got their first win in six as Zach Randolph's 25 points and 15 rebounds saw them beat the New York Knicks 95-87.

Carlos Boozer scored 19 points as the Chicago Bulls beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 100-84 for their first win in five.

Eric Bledsloe's 25 points saw the Phoenix Suns beat the Dallas Mavericks 123-108, while the Washington Wizards beat the Boston Celtics 106-99.

The Sacramento Kings saw off the Orlando Magic 105-100, The Utah Jazz edged out the Charlotte Bobcats 88-85 and the Portland Trail Blazers were 110-107 victors over the New Orleans Pelicans.

There were also wins for the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Clippers.
