Preston boss Graham Westley challenged Jeffrey Monakana to make his match-winning display against Yeovil a habit this season.
In an impressive second-half display Monakana scored one, set up a goal for Chris Beardsley and drew the foul that led to Ed Upson's dismissal for the Glovers.
And North End boss Westley urged the 18-year-old to repeat his starring in the 3-2 win performance week-in week-out.
"Jeffrey always had the beating of their left-back and we didn't get the ball to him enough in the first half," he said.
"He's got to learn to boss other players and get them to give him the ball otherwise he can't be effective.
"We fed Jeffrey more in the second half and he was more effective. What he needs to learn is how to not drift out of the game. When Jeffrey gets the ball at his feet and he's running at people he's a real handful and we saw that in the second half."
