Westley upbeat despite defeat
Stevenage boss Graham Westley found some positives to take from his side's 4-1 defeat at Bristol City.
Francois Zoko completed the scoring at Ashton Gate when he fired a 74th-minute consolation for Boro, who also recently conceded four gaols at Colchester.
Stevenage hit a post through the dangerous Luke Freeman while home goalkeeper Elliot Parish made brilliant saves to deny Freeman twice, Jordan Borrow and Roarie Deacon.
Westley said: "We had more shots than City and showed a lot of character.
"Although we conceded four again it was a totally different performance to our last game against Colchester in which I admitted we were poor.
"This time we refused to let heads drop. Their goalkeeper has made two fantastic saves either side of half-time to stop us eqaulising.
"If we continue to play like that I have no doubts that we will be okay this season. There was a lot to encourage me in the way we performed."
