Whitbread happy with Leicester
Defender Zak Whitbread believes Leicester's back-line has made a positive transition to their new formation.
The Foxes have adapted a 3-5-2 system this season instead of the standard flat back four they played last term. But Whitbread is confident they can reap the rewards and insisted Sunday's goalless draw with Leeds reinforced the point.
"We've done plenty of work on it," he told the Leicester Mercury. "A new system will always take time to get accustomed to but I think the lads have taken to it well, the understanding has been there and I think we've made the transition quite well.
"I think not being beaten is the biggest positive. In any game you don't win, you don't want to get beat, and a clean sheet to go with that is something we will settle for. "We limited Leeds to few chances and, over the past couple of games, we have looked reasonably solid. It will get better as it goes on."
